A Co Cavan National School has received approval for what's been described as a "major building project".
It will see the provision of a mainstream classroom with en-suite facilities at Kill National School in Cootehill.
The works will also include two special education teaching rooms.

The project will now go to tender, and local TD Brendan Smith says it will "considerably enhance the school's facilities".
