Co Monaghan primary schools committed to spreading road safety message after recent award win

Second class students from Annalitten National School were awarded the top spot in the 'Hi-Glo Silver' category.

Pupils from a Co Monaghan primary school who had success at the recent Seatbelt Sheriff Awards say they’re committed to spreading the road safety message.

Second class students from Annalitten National School, Castleblayney, were awarded the top spot in the 'Hi-Glo Silver' category for their "Glow Before You Go!" poster.

The awards promote the importance of car safety and visibility and students say they now appreciate the importance of wearing hi-viz clothing on a walk and of always wearing a seat-belt.
