Monaghan County Council says it’s concerned about the increased number of cars being burnt out at local beauty spots.
The Environment Section is investigating after a Mazda sports car was found burnt out near the Mass Rock at Bragan recently.
Similar incidents took place in November, when three cars were found after “suspected Halloween festivities” on the mountain.

Nial O’Connor is the Environment Officer with the local authority, and says acts like this can cause significant damage.
