The Cavan Monaghan Covid Vaccination Hub has been officially opened at St Davnet's Health Campus in Monaghan.
The hub is offering primary and booster doses of the Covid19 vaccine to the public and opens three days per week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday one week and Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday the following week.
People can book an appointment or access the walk-in service which the centre offers from 10:30am to 1pm and 1.45pm to 4.30pm . Meanwhile, the Cavan Monaghan Covid-19 vaccination team has completed almost 150,000 vaccinations since the start of the programme.
Dermot Monaghan, Chief Officer, Community Healthcare Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan, Sligo said that securing the vaccination hub at St Davnet's has served as a huge boost to the region. “We are delighted to have a vaccination hub for Cavan Monaghan here at St Davnet’s. With three days a week to chose from, getting your top-up vaccines has never been easier.
"The Health Service Executive (HSE) encourages everyone who is due their primary or booster doses to visit out vaccination hub at St Davnet’s to make sure it’s a happy and healthy Christmas for all," he added.
