It’s been seven years since he divided a nation by pulling out of five concerts at Croke Park.

Locals in Croke Park say they would welcome Garth Brooks to the area but for three nights only.

Talks are believed to at an advanced stage for the country music legend to play at the venue, seven years after the five in a row fiasco.

People have been quick to react to rumours that Garth Brooks is coming to Dublin for three nights next September.

It’s been seven years since he divided a nation by pulling out of five concerts at Croke Park when the Thundered Rolled over licence issues.

Patrick Gates from the Croke Park Residents Association says the music legend is welcome for three nights only.

400, 000 country music fans were left with Unanswered Prayers after That Summer in 2014.

So far Aiken Promotions, Dublin City Council and Croke Park haven’t commented on the speculation.
