Residents of a Cavan nursing home are said to be 'delighted' as family visits have resumed today.
Nursing home residents can receive two visits a week from today.
They will be allowed the visits on general compassionate grounds, once there's a high level of vaccination in the facility.

Nursing Homes Ireland says it’s welcomed news for the country's 30,000 nursing home residents and their families.
Visits began at Castlemanor Nursing Home in Cavan for its 71 residents today as all residents and staff who can have the Covid vaccine have received it.
Director of Nursing at Castlemanor Mary Wright says while it's an exciting time, they still need to take measures to prevent the spread of the virus:
