The Diocese of Clogher and parish of Muckno has been paying tribute to its parish sacristan Micky Murphy on his retirement.
On Saturday evening, Bishop Larry Duffy led the celebration of Mass in St Mary's Church, Castleblayney, after which a presentation was made to Mickey to say thanks for his 36 years of generous service.
The Diocese of Clogher has wished Mickey a happy, healthy and fruitful retirement.

Local politicians have been paying tribute too, with Deputy Niamh Smyth saying it "was a privilege to be there on this emotional evening on Saturday past with the beautiful choir making it extra special".
