A documentary directed and produced by a Co.Cavan man has been selected to screen at the prestigious DOC NYC in New York next month.
The 13 minute short film- 'My Cure and Me'- is funded by Creative Ireland through Cavan County Museum. The film directed and produced by Alan Bradley has screened at the Galway Film Fleadh and Docs Ireland in Belfast. Alan who hails from Virginia explores the experiences of two elderly, rural, Irish faith healers with 'the cure' in his latest film production.
One of those featured in the short film is Alice Smith from Crosserlough in Cavan. Alan says the idea for film came about when he wanted to find out more about
Irish cures.
