Carrickmacross Gardai arrested a motorist for driving under the influence of drugs over the weekend.
The driver failed the roadside drug test and tested positive for both cocaine and cannabis in the early hours of the morning.
Further blood tests were taken on arrest and the driver now faces a court appearance.

Local Gardaí are appealing to motorists to never drink or take drugs and drive.
Meanwhile, Cavan roads policing unit says they mags several speeding detections over the bank holiday weekend.
One motorist was travelling at 159kmph in a 100 Kmph zone. Local Gardaí are urging motorists to slow down and be conscious of your speed and the speed limit in which you are travelling.
