The Monaghan MD has the lowest after 203 cases at 894 across both counties.

Each local electoral area in the region has a below average incidence rate.

The Latest data for the last two weeks shows that Monaghan has the 6th lowest rate nationally, while Cavan is 12th from the top.

The 14 day national incidence rate currently sits at 1316.

Each LEA in Monaghan is currently recording rates lower than this.

The Carrickmacross/Castleblayney MD has a rate of 923 after 198 cases were recorded in this time period.

In the Ballybay Clones LEA a rate of 1049 has been recorded, which is the highest in the county.

While, the Monaghan MD has the lowest after 203 cases at 894.

Meanwhile Cavan is further up the table recording the 12th highest incidence rate in the country.

The Bailieborough Cootehill electoral area currently has the highest rate at 1310, coming in just below the average.

The Cavan Belturbet electoral area is sitting at 1005 after 261 cases, the lowest in the county, while Ballyjamesduff at 1,209.
