Local residents in the townland of Cremartin in Co Monaghan say enough is enough when it comes to a major road safety issue in the locality.
Residents have made an appeal to highlight their concerns and worries.
They have been calling for road calming measures to be introduced for over seven years at Cremartin Cross.
Residents say they feel like they aren't being listened to and their voices have not been heard. Everyday heavy vehicles travel through the community at speeds that residents believes are unsafe.
Petitions have been signed, they have raised concerns and contacted officials. One of those residents is Priscilla Clements and she asks the question, what more are we expected to do?
Priscilla says locals are not prepared to stay quiet on this issue only to allow a tragedy to occur.
Meanwhile, the local woman says it's time for action in relation to addressing the situation.
