The entire Kilnaleck community will benefit from CLÁR funding that has been announced today.
€925,000 has been allocated to ten projects apiece across Cavan and Monaghan to support local community projects.
Minister Heather Humphreys says these projects "make our rural communities even more attractive places to live, work and raise a family".
It's part of an overall funding injection of close to €7.4m under the 'Our Rural Future' programme, with more than €43,000 going to Kilnaleck Activity Hub for the construction of a four lane, 100 meter sprint track.
