In April they issued a warning to the HSE that should FASN fail to get additional money they would be closed by June.

The Family Addiction Support Network is at risk of closure by September if funding isn't secured.

In April they issued a warning to the HSE that should they fail to get additional money they would be closed by June.

Project co-ordinator Jackie McKenna says they have had promises from the HSE that haven't come to fruition and they need action to continue helping families locally.

CHO1 which covers Cavan and Monaghan, did allocate €7,500 to the group to improve and maintain services in this region, however, Jackie says it won't be enough to see them through September.
