Monaghan County Council has announced two strands of funding to support festivals and events which will attract visitors to Co Monaghan in 2024. The festival grants will be administered under two schemes. The first scheme provides fund amounts of a maximum of €2,000 per event and it is envisaged a minimum of five events or festivals will receive support from this fund.
In addition to this, the Failte Ireland Regional Festivals and Participative Events Funding Scheme is focused on the delivery of a larger scale, regional focused festival and events. This scheme provides a total fund amount of €5,000 and it is envisaged that a minimum of one or maximum of two events will receive support from this fund. Application deadlines for both funding streams is 4pm on Thursday the 4th of April.
