Figures released on vaccination status of kids in Cavan/Monaghan

8% of 5-11 year olds are vaccinated against Covid-19 in Monaghan while 15% are vaccinated in Cavan.

These latest CSO figures - which are based on Local Electoral Areas - show that percentages range from 4% in Buncrana to 54% in Stillorgan.

Local figures are emerging from the Monaghan LEA and the Cootehill-Bailieborough EA.

Meanwhile, Covid-19 booster 1 rates vary across the country and range from 36% to 74% while booster 2 rates were 10% on average across all LEAs in July 2022 .

This represents an increase of 1% from the previous month.
