A status yellow warning has been issued for Cavan and 15 counties.
The fog warning has been issued for Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, Galway, Leitrim, and Roscommon.
Areas of dense fog or freezing fog possible, leading to impaired visibility and hazardous travelling conditions.

The warning is valid from 9pm tonight and will run until 10am tomorrow.
