Four separate do not consume notices in place on water supplies

The Do Not Consume notice remains in place on four local water supplies.

Irish Water says people on the Newbliss public water supply should not
consume their water due to elevated levels of iron and manganese.

Over 400 customers in the area are affected and alternative supplies remain
in place.

Another notice, affecting over 2,000 people, was put in place for the
Cootehill supply yesterday.

Separately, Do Not Consume notices also remain in place on the Dernakesh and
Killsherdany Group Water Schemes in Cavan.

Elevated levels of manganese are being blamed in both cases.

People are being told not to consume their tap water and instead use
alternative supplies.
