DELIVERING GROWTH: Four Star Pizza CEO Colin Hughes serves up the news that the popular Irish pizza chain is planning to open 45 new stores and create 900 new jobs on the island of Ireland over the next three years. Four Star currently operates 56 outlets in Ireland, including 14 in Northern Ireland, but following a root-and-branch review of the business, the company wants to bring the total number of stores to more than 100 by 2025, with an additional 27 stores in the Republic and a further 18 in the North. The 'Four Star Pizza' chain has targeted Cavan as a possible location for a new store.

The Irish-owned franchise recently announced plans to expand its operations, which could lead to "significant" employment opportunities across the Cavan region by 2025.

In addition to this, CEO Colin Hughes is now on the hunt for any local entrepreneurs to expand the franchisee network.


In a statement, Mr Hughes said that the company will be offering candidates an "opportunity" in just a few months, to run their own business built around a highly successful model.

Mr Hughes added that if any "talented business brains" in the local area fancy a new challenge and think they have what it takes to run their own Four Star Pizza business, then he would be "very happy" to hear from them:
