Investigations are ongoing following damage to a Garda patrol car during a pursuit operation in Monaghan.
Gardaí responded to an incident of dangerous driving that occurred in the Annalough area of Stranooden, Co. Monaghan on the afternoon of Sunday, the 9th of May.
Gardaí carried out a managed containment operation in pursuit of the offending vehicle where both occupants of the vehicle abandoned the car and fled the scene.

A patrol car was damaged however, no injuries were reported and no arrests have yet been made.
Investigations are ongoing.
