Gardaí in Monaghan are currently investigating a number of criminal damage incidents which occurred over the weekend.
On Friday, September 9th, a quantity of fencing and waterpipes were damaged in both the Tullygoney area of Tydavnet and the Cresil area of Ballinode.
According to Gardaí these incidents occurred between 12am and 5am.

Those who witnessed anything "suspicious" between these times are asked to make contact with Gardaí.
Elsewhere, a number of flower pots were damaged in the South Monaghan town of Carrickmacross over the weekend.
It is believed that the vandalism was captured on CCTV and investigations are ongoing.
