Gardaí in Monaghan investigate spate of break-ins across the county

Gardaí in Monaghan are currently investigating a break-in to a house in the Carrickanure area of Clontibret.

The incident happened on Tuesday evening, November 29th, between the hours of 5pm and 7pm.

There were also two houses broken into in the Annalitten area of Castleblayney the same evening between 6pm and 9pm.

Cash again was the main target.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was along the N2 between Clontibret and Castleblayney or in the Annyalla/Broomfield area and noticed anything suspicious to contact Gardaí in Monaghan on 047 77240.
