Gardai investigate criminal damage to memorial of Cavan man Detective Adrian Donohoe

Cavan Gardaí are investigating a criminal damage incident that occurred over the weekend.

Gardai in Kilnaleck are investigating the incident that resulted in the damage to the memorial erected in memory of the late Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe at the Green in Kilnaleck. 

This incident is believed to have happened over the past few days.

The memorial was erected in Kilnaleck in memory of the local Detective Garda who was shot dead outside the Lordship Credit Union in Dundalk on the 25th of January in 2013.
