Gardaí investigate discovery of woman’s body in Monaghan 

Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances of a discovery of a body yesterday in County Monaghan
The body of a woman was recovered from the Ulster Canal in Monaghan town at approximately 8:30am yesterday morning.
Gardaí say a post-mortem examination has been arranged.

The results of the examination will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
A garda spokesman says no further information is available at this time.
