A Cavan woman and Senator says it's high time the Government "cleaned the house" and closed a glaring taxpayer loophole.
Sharon Keogan was speaking about the on-going legal aid dispute.
She noted her belief that the old system didn't give an incentive to end court cases, resulting in them being dragged out for months and months.

She added that striking lawyers are harming vulnerable victims just because the government wants to simplify the admin and cut costs.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Sharon explained the issue.
