A kiosk in the forecourt was broken into and a significant amount of cash, contained within a safe, stolen.

Police are appealing for information following a report of a burglary at a filling station in Forkhill, Co Armagh.

It’s believed the break-in of the business on the Carrickasticken Road occurred in the early hours of Friday morning last between 1.45am and 3.30am.

A kiosk in the forecourt was broken into and a significant amount of cash, contained within a safe, stolen. Three men, wearing face masks and hoods, are believed to have used a grinder to access the safe’s contents. Sergeant Scott McBride said the investigation is underway and the PSNI are appealing to anyone with any information, mobile phone, CCTV or dash-cam footage that can help with their enquiries to call 101 and quote reference number 240 12/01/24. Alternatively, information can also be provided by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
