Health and wellbeing evening planned locally tonight

A health and wellbeing evening is planned this evening in association with Monaghan GAA.

Guest speakers at the event will be Alan Markey from Aughnamullen GAA and Martin Maguire Crocus Men's Den.

Alan Markey will discuss his journey through his cancer diagnosis and his recovery, while Martin Maguire will outline the work and supports available through Crocus. There will also be other discussions surrounding health and wellbeing initiatives.

The event takes place at 7:30pm at VBC Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence in Cloghan. Co Monaghan GAA Healthy Clubs officer, John Mc Ardle says people across the region need to hear about Alan's journey to recovery.
