Former Minister Heather Humphreys has been crowned the Farney Foundation Co Monaghan Person of the Year for 2024.
The Farney Foundation was founded by local man Brian Rudden and is a non-profit entity that promotes and supports anyone and anything associated with Co. Monaghan all over the world.
Heather Humphreys was crowned the overall winner out of 12 finalists at a black tie event which took place at the Hillgrove Hotel last night.
Speaking to Northern Sound, the former Minister said she was 'humbled' and 'honoured' to receive the award.
