Cllr David Maxwell said the news last night that his friend and colleague of 23 yrs has decided to step down from politics is very sad news.
He said Heather Humphrey’s gave it 100% for the people especially her home county of Monaghan.
The Monaghan Town Fine Gael Councillor said she will be a huge loss to County Monaghan and Cavan but he wished her well going forward.
