County Council’s across the Shannonside Northern Sound region are reminding all land and property owners that hedge cutting season ends tomorrow the 28th of February.
Land owners are being reminded of the necessity to maintain hedgerows especially beside public roads for the safety of road users.
There is a legal obligation on landowners to maintain hedgerows & trees that border public roads and footpaths.
