Management at Cavan Hospital are advising the public that they are experiencing significantly high numbers of patients presenting to the emergency department.
The hospital says it is now in escalation. According to the INMO there are 13 people waiting on trolleys at Cavan General this morning.
If any alternatives to an Emergency Department are available, management are advising those to be explored as a priority.
