Although there were a high number of residents living with a diagnosis of dementia or cognitive impairment those residents who could not communicate their needs appeared to be relaxed and enjoyed being in the company of staff.

Over the course of the inspection staff were observed to support the residents in a person-centred and caring manner.

On arrival, inspectors described the centre as nicely decorated, spacious, homely and welcoming.

The centre comprises of a one house and a one bedroom apartment.

On the day of inspection, inspectors observed the nursing home to be warm, tastefully decorated and homely.

The centre comprises of two detached bungalows in County Monaghan on the outskirts of the local town.

The house is staffed 24/7 and provides care to four adults with disabilities
