House prices in County Cavan have jumped 4.2% in the last year according to new figures from Daft.ie. The figures are part of

House prices in County Cavan have jumped 4.2% in the last year according to new figures from Daft.ie.

The figures are part of the property website's Q1 house price report and shows that prices across the Northern Sound region have risen over the past 12 months.

The national average listing price of a property in Ireland Stands at €275,751, with house prices rising by an average of 8% nationally in the first quarter of this year.

Cavan has recorded a year-on-year price increase of 4.2%, with properties being sold for over €162,000.

Monaghan follows its neighbour with properties hitting the market for an average of €184,700, up 3% from 2020.
