Co. Cavan had the highest housing vacancy rate in the region so far this year.
That's according to data published in the GeoDirectory Residential Buildings Report for Quarter 2 of 2026.
The findings show Cavan had a vacancy rate of 6-point-4 per cent, while in Monaghan, that figure was 4-point-4, as of June.
This means the two counties are above the national average of 3-point-7 per cent.
