Former minister Heather Humphreys has officially launched her bid to become the next president.
The Fine Gael candidate addressed a packed rally at the Peace Campus in her home county of Monaghan.
Tánaiste Simon Harris and Junior Housing Minister John Cummins were among those in attendance.

Ms. Humphreys said her key priorities include bringing Áras an Uachtaráin closer to the people and she also discussed her stance on a united Ireland.
Ms Humphreys said she certainly wants to see a united Ireland.
