The IDA is aiming to have 25 companies invest in the border region over the next three years.
Tanaiste, and Minister for Enterprise, Leo Varadkar said counties Cavan and Monaghan will continue to be actively promoted as part of the wider Border area.
He was speaking in response to a question by Sinn Fein's Pauline Tully on the lack of IDA investment in local counties.

A new Advanced Building Solution is currently being marketed to foreign investors, with a similar building expected in Cavan by 2024.
Minister Varadkar said the IDA is targeting 25 investments in the border region between 2021 and 2024.
