The annual New Years day run and walk hosted by the Glaslough Harriers club will once again take place tomorrow in Emyvale
A permanent fixture now in the calendar,, the 10k and 5k event is expected to once again draw hundreds of runners and walkers to the North Monaghan village.
This year's event will also have an international feel to it as Daniel Mc Kenna, who is better known as the "Irish Yank" has travelled from New York to support the event.
Founder of the Irish Yank Society and Foundation, Daniel who is a former inter-county player with Monaghan is delighted to be back home to raise funds for the Errigal Truagh Special Needs centre.
