Gardaí in Cavan are investigating a break in to a house in the Roscalgan area (Crosskeys Road) on Wednesday evening, February 28th. The culprits were disturbed and fled the scene at approximately 7:30pm in a dark coloured hatchback car. According to local Gardaí, a similar incident occurred in the Deerpark area (Cavan Road) of Virginia a short time later at about 8:30pm.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in either area or recall seeing a dark coloured hatchback parked nearby either location to get in touch. You can so do by contacting Cavan Gardaí on 049 4368800 or alternatively Bailieboro Gardaí on 042 9694570.
