Gardaí in Cavan are continuing to investigate a burglary at a house in the Carrickfern area of the town. The incident took place during the early hours of Saturday morning, July 1st.
A quantity of jewellery and a sum of cash was taken. A silver Toyota Yaris, 10 CN, was also taken from the scene and is still outstanding.
Elsewhere, Gardaí in Cavan also received a number of reports of suspicious activity in the Cherrymount area the same morning between the hours of 1am and 2am.
