Investigations ongoing over a number of incidents in Cavan town

Gardai are currently investigating a number of incidents that occurred in and around the town in recent days.

An investigation into a burglary at Fairgreen Community Gardens between the 8th and 10th of January is ongoing.

The lock on a shed at the property was broken and the assailants subsequently gained entry.

Anybody who noticed suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact Gardai in Cavan town.

Meanwhile, Gardai in Cavan are also investing the theft of heating oil from Killygarry National School between the 26th and 29th of January last.

A shed was damaged to gain access to the tank.
