Irish Water says it isn't aware of any issues with the water supply in Clones after images of discoloured water were stared on social media.
Photos of brown water coming from taps were shared with people in the area raising concerns.
A spokesperson for Irish Water says it's not aware of any issues in the area.

However, they told Northern Sound News that some "find and fix leakage" works are ongoing which could cause some discolouration.
It's urged people who have discoloured water to run their cold tap until the water runs clear.
