Jack and Holly have topped the list for the most popular baby names in December 2021.
Last year Jack was the most popular boys names in Westmeath, Cavan, Monaghan, and Leitrim.
Charlie topped the list in Roscommon, Daniel in Longford, and Noah joint top in Westmeath.

While Holly was the most popular girl's name in December 2021, Fiadh was the most popular nationwide in those 12 months.
In the shannonside northern sound region, the most popular girls' name was Grace in Longford, Roscommon, and Monaghan.
In Leitrim, it was Éabha and Annie in Cavan.

Chloe, Aoife, and Lucy were also among the most popular in Roscommon as well as Saoirse in Monaghan.
Ellie was the most popular in Westmeath.
The 2022 figures are due to be released in February 2023.
