Keir Starmer has announced he is resigning as British prime minister.
The former British Prime Minister's leadership of the UK Labour party has been under pressure for months because of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, disastrous local election results, cabinet resignations and concerns over the economy.
That ramped up last week with his main rival Andy Burnham winning a seat in a crucial byelection.
