There are five different starting times for walkers going every half hour between 7am and 9am tomorrow morning.

The Killeshandra Camino is taking place tomorrow, the event now its in second year attracts people from across the country and further afield.

Walkers will take on the mapped 35 and a half km route through some of the country's most picturesque rolling hillsides and unspoilt forests, country laneways and lakeside greenways.

Killeshandra is located within the world famous UNESCO recognised Cuilcagh Lakelands Global Geopark, and marketed to tourists as part of Fáilte's Ireland's Hidden Heartlands.

There are five different starting times for walkers going every half hour between 7am and 9am tomorrow morning.

This years walking trek has an added element with each of the 40 GAA clubs in Cavan have been asked to bring a team of four people to do their own Camino on the day to raise funds for three well known charities.

Camino Project manager, Eileen Gormely says that the area has a lot to offer tourism in the area and an ideal location for a Camino.
