Learner driver caught driving unaccompanied in Monaghan

Members of the Monaghan Roads Policing Unit this week conducted a number of checkpoints in the local area. According to Gardaí, a number of road traffic offences were detected. A learner driver was caught driving while unaccompanied in a car without valid tax, NCT or L plates displayed. According to Gardaí, fixed charge penalty notices were issued in relation to the offences.
