Limited housing supply could drive up prices in Cavan.
A local real estate agent says while there are concerns in rural property markets, it's far removed from the investment funds or bulk buying seen in Dublin and the commuter belt.
Recent property reports showed single digit percent increases in sale and rent prices in both Cavan and Monaghan over the past year.

James Spring, of REA Peter Donohoe in Ballyconnell says he's seen increased demand on all types of homes.
He told The Wider View that if current trends continue, buyers will be forced to pay more.
