Local accountants say move to four-day working week will help staff well-being

An accountants with offices in the Shannonside Northern Sound region is moving to a four-day working week to "help the well-being" of its staff.

Cavan and Longford based KBG Accountants say the shift to a four-day week will also "keep quality team members in the locality".

Mark Reilly is a partner at the company and says the pandemic made KBG Accountants reconsider its work practises and "what was important".

He says staff realised "that time is limited" and it prompted them to consider a four-day work.

KBG Accountants will make the move in January of next year, and speaking on this morning's Joe Finnegan Show, Mark explained the benefits he expects it to have:
