A local county councillor is looking for answers in relation to why a post for a youth addiction counsellor remains unfilled in the region.
Councillors in Cavan have agreed a motion to write to the Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill to enquire why a post for a qualified Counsellor with the Cavan/ Monaghan Youth Substance Support Service remains vacant.
Cllr Niall Smith raised the issue at the most recent sitting of Cavan County Council. Cllr Smith says he has concerns and he wants answers over the issue.
