With storms and extreme events increasing year after year due to climate change, a new hour-long TG4 documentary will not only examine the cost of flooding but will feature a few familiar faces from Co Monaghan. Tuilte which airs tonight on TG4 at 9.30pm will feature members of Ballybay GAA who fear for the future of their clubhouse and pitch when it comes to flooding.
Clones man Brian Mac Dómhnaill was also involved in the making of the documentary. Speaking to Northern Sound, Brian praised members of Ballybay GAA who he says have been at the "forefront" of taking on board a nature based solution to a problem that they were having. As a result, Brian has called for this approach to be replicated on sports grounds right across the country.
