Over €1.5 million is now available for families in Cavan and Monaghan to cover their back to school costs.
Minister for Social Protection Dara Calleary recently announced that over 126 thousand families across the country will be able to avail of the allowance for the upcoming school term.
In Cavan and Monaghan, 3 thousand 816 families are expected to benefit from the funding.

The scheme has also been extended this year and will include 2 and 3 year olds for the first time.
