€1.8 million in funding has been announced for 52 projects under the LGBTIQ+ Community Services Fund.
It will support a wide range of organisations nationwide and was announced by Minister for Equality Norma Foley.
Today's move coincides with the publication of first Annual Report of the National LGBTIQ+ Inclusion Strategy II

Minister Foley says that report demonstrates the meaningful progress made across Government and in collaboration with community organisations.
Locally in the region, Outcomers which is LGBTIQ+ an support service based in Dundalk received 100 thousand euro.
Outcomers covers the northeast of Ireland, including Cavan and Monaghan.
